The Dade County wrestling team competed at Hillgrove High School on November 20th. The Wolverines opened competition against North Forsyth. The final score was 36-36 with the Wolverines winning on criteria. The Wolverines lost their second dual against South Paulding by a score of 46-33. The third dual of the day against Calhoun went to criteria as the final score was 39-39. The Wolverines came up short based on the second criteria. The Wolverines then finished another hard fought dual against McEachern in a 39-39 tie. The Wolverines again fell short according to criteria. The final dual of the day was against Milton High School, and the Wolverines fell 43-31, and finished 1-4 on the day. The team’s overall season record is 5-5.
The Wolverines will be in action again Saturday the 24th at Heritage High School in Catoosa County. The first home match of the year will be November 29th at 5:00pm.
