Each day in May, Dade County High School would like to take the time to recognize a different senior who participated in spring sports.  Unfortunately, their seasons were cut very short due to COVID-19.  Along with missing half their seasons, these seniors did not have the opportunity to be recognized during their senior nights, a tradition where we learn a little more about our seniors during their last home game. This Senior Spring Athlete Spotlight Series is one of several small projects we have planned for our 28 seniors who participated in athletics at DCHS this spring. We know this does not come close to taking the place of missing the opportunity to play for a region championship or going to the state playoffs, but we want you to know we are thinking of you and we appreciate you here at DCHS.

Today, we recognize Senior Drennan Evearitt.  He is a member of the DCHS Soccer Team.  Coach Jelley had this to say about Drennan, “Heartstrong, work-ethic phenom, slide-tackling specialist – a model of vivacity.”  Warmest congratulations on your upcoming graduation!  Thank you for the way you have represented Dade County High School during your time here.
