Wolverines News · Are You Ready For Some Football? First QB Club Meeting Monday 6/17 6:00 at DCHS

New Head Coach, Dale Pruitt, would love to have a good turnout for our first Dade County QB Club meeting Monday evening, June 17, at 6:00 PM in the DCHS auditorium.  If you would like to roll your sleeves up and help us out around the football field, we sure would appreciate it.

What are some ways you can help?  Pressure washing, painting, spraying weeds, hanging signs, cleaning up, etc. There are some new, exciting things happening and more coming soon.  Check out the pics included in this post of the recent pressure washing completed this past weekend by Heaton Pressure Washing.  They did a great job to ALL the concrete surrounding the bleachers and football field.  They also pressure washed the entire field house and ticket booth, along with the Brett Warren Memorial.  Thank you Gary Heaton and crew for putting in two long days for our school.  We plan on pressure washing the home and visitors bleachers for sure, but we would like to call on volunteers for help with that project.

GroundsCARE Unlimited will be in town June 24th to do a process called Fraze Mowing.  If you’ve never heard of it click here for this video!  We believe it is going to improve the safety and appearance of our field and can’t wait for this project.

Also, a huge thank you to Heath from Garrett Outdoors for repairing our major leak on the football field.  Our irrigation systems on all four athletic fields are now in good, working condition.
